Florence Fong Hope Middleton is an Oakland-based visual journalist and educator whose work centers maternal health. Her reporting and photography have been published by the Pulitzer Center, San Francisco Chronicle, Los Angeles Times, KQED, and more.
Florence is a two-time Pulitzer Center fellow, Catchlight Mental Health Desk Visual Reporter, Dorothea Lange fellow, College Photographer of the Year (CPOY) finalist, and earned her master’s degree from UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.
